In Minsk in October of 24-25, 2003 took place the German-Belarusian cooperation exchange. It was organized by Association of industrial-research unions in Germany "Otto von Guericke" (AiF) jointly with National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus (NAS of Belarus).

On the first day the personal negotiations between German and Belarusian participants of exchange in a building of the National Academy of Sciences took place. And on the second day the German businessmen visited the Belarusian State Research-applied Concern of Powder Metallurgy and Scientific-technological Park "Metolit" at BNTU.

We will try to evaluate the results of the event.

Disadvantages:
- little quantity of German delegacy (5 persons) because of some reasons, from our point of view. Among which are increase of economical problems for small enterprises and more evaluated perspectives of joint cooperation than earlier.

Advantages:
- actual subjects of the seminar;
- considerable interest from of the Belarusian organizations (in the application more than 50 proposals, more than 25 participants);
- maximum saturated working program for the German side (because of unequal ratio of the sides).

In the Scientific-technological Park "Metolit" at BNTU it was shown the manufacture basis to the visitors. There were held negotiations both on organizations, as well as on prolongation of available cooperation. As the park in the present moment passes the start-up stage, such the contacts at the level of small and medium-sized businesses are very important for it.
