On 11-13 of September 2003 in Erfurt (Germany) in the framework of events under the joint title "Naro.tech" (www.narotech.de) took place
- Exhibition for Renewable Resources, Technologies and Products;
- 4-th International Symposium "Materials made from Renewable Resources";
- European Brokerage Event "Renewable Resources".

The European Brokerage Event was organized by the Thueringian Agency for Technology and Innovation (THATI GmbH - IRC) and by the partners of the European IRC network.

At the work of exchange took part the Interuniversity Center for Marketing of Scientific-Research Works (ICMSRW). The participation at this event was important because of two reasons.

First of all, it is related with the thematic of exchange - waste recycling and renewable resources. In this nowadays actual problem a lot of universities execute their researches. In the framework of interuniversity innovation network works the Technology Transfer Center on Recycling of Domestic and Industrial Wastes.

Secondly, this exchange was organized by THATI GmbH - IRC. During the last year the successful cooperation between THATI GmbH - IRC and ICMSRW was noticed. This years the joint project in the area of biomaterials application in medicine was prepared. And at this moment the preparation of the second project in the area of building constructions takes place.

Impulse to such cooperation was a business journey of the Belarusian experts in 2001 with visit of innovation centers in Germany, which was organized by support of the International Bureau of BMBF (German Ministry of Education and Science), Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Germany and Belarusian Committee on Science and Technologies. At that time one of the places in a journey was Erfurt and Fund of Technologies, Innovation and Research in Thueringien - (STIFT). THATI-IRC is the enterprise, which is a part of the STIFT.

As a result of participation of the ICMSRW at the exchange work was executing intensive negotiations during the exchange event (in the near future the cooperation offers will be dispatched to the innovative centers of universities) and signing agreement on cooperation on continuing basis between THATI GmbH - IRC and ICMSRW at Scientific-technological Park of BNTU "METOLIT".
