The agreement on cooperation between "Innovation-industrial technopark "Idea" (www.tpidea.ru ) and Scientific-technological Park "METOLIT" at BNTU was signed in October in Minsk.

The set up in 2002 in the Republic of Tatarstan the joint-stock company "Innovation-industrial technopark "Idea" can be an example of the realization of concept of innovation infrastructure development in the NIS-countries. The main tasks of the technopark are commercialization of developed technologies, support of innovation projects, improvement of investment climate, creation of additional workplaces, increase of business activity, increase of export potential for the Republic of Tatarstan.

The work of the technological park "Idea" is based on development of two basic directions: business-incubator and business-hotel. The proposed by the business-incubator services are: provision of required infrastructure, consulting services, support of innovation projects, investments etc. The technopark provides for own clients an opportunity of an idea formalization, conducting of experimental works and manufacturing of trial samples on favourable terms. The second direction of work of the technopark "Idea"is concept of a business-hotel. Its main task is assistance in development of newly set up industry companies.
