International exhibitions in Lebanon and Turkey. Brief reports
On 15-16 of September, 2005, the international exhibition of research and innovation projects took place in Ankara (R&D Project Platform ), where the delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus took part.
This exhibition has been dated for opening the academic year at Middle-Eastern Technical University (METU) in Ankara and to 4-years anniversary of setting up a technopark at the university called ORTA DOGU TEKNOPARK A.S.
The basic result of the work of the exhibition became contracts about intentions between technopark METU and our universities. They will be concretized during forthcoming visit of the director of technopark Mr. Ugur Yuksel to Minsk in November this year.
From 27 of September till 1 of October, 2005, in Beirut was organized the National exposition of Belarus at the International exhibition «Beirut World Trade Fair 2005». Universities of our republic have presented developments on the following directions:
Building materials, products and designs
- > Food stuffs and drinks
- Medicine
A number of firms have become interested in special building materials - straining cement, straining concrete, binding additives for their use in monolithic housing construction.
Some firms have shown interest to "know-how" of juices, jams, sauces, vegetable mashed potatoes, kvass of fermentation of the raised biological value, soft drinks of functional purpose and have offered the services on promotion of food stuffs on the Lebanese market.
A lot of questions according to education of Lebanese students in universities of Belarus were traditionally discussed, as well as improvement of professional skills of experts in our scientific and educational institutions.
