Since 28 of September till 1 of October, 2005, in Zakopane (Poland) has passed the XIV seminar «Scientific and technical information in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe».
The organizers of the seminar have been the Polish Center of Data Processing ( www.opi.org.pl) and International center of scientific and technical information, Moscow ( www.icsti.ru).
The representatives from Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Hungary and other countries took part in the event.
The questions of information technologies according to databanks, libraries and archives and their use by the enterprises with a view of development of the innovative activity were considered at the seminar.
The seminar has been conducted by Zbigniew Machula - representative of the Ministry of Science and Information of Poland and Le Trong Hien - Deputy director of the International center of scientific and technical information. They have been marked importance of this seminar in adjustment of the international cooperation.
Zbigniew Machula has made a report. He told about participation of the Republic of Poland in projects of EU and gave extensive statistics on the cooperating countries, including on volumes of investment, parameters of the profit of enterprises participating in the projects, on the fields of activity etc.
The Technopark of BNTU "Metolit" has made two reports on the theme of development of innovative business and innovative structure in Belarus. There has been shown the work of the centers of business support, has been analyzed the work of technoparks and Interuniversity Center of Marketing.
