International Scientific-Industrial Forum «United Russia» (Nizhni Novgorod). Report

From 1 till 5 of November, 2005, the 10-th International Scientific-Industrial Forum has taken place in Nizhni Novgorod «United Russia». There are 1428 russian and foreign companies and organizations from 64 subjects of the Russian Federation and 13 countries of the world have taken part. Work of the Forum have been described by 368 representatives of mass media, who represented 84 printed mass-media, 27 TV, 14 news agencies, 8 radio stations, as well as 8 press-services.

The exposition of the fifth National Exhibition of Belarus at the Forum have presented over 50 enterprises, which have showed production from diesel engines, heavy mechanical engineering and hospital medical equipment up to jersey and food materials.

At the stand of the Ministry of Education of Belarus the collective exposition of scientific and technical production of universities has been submitted. The exposition of the Ministry of Education of Belarus differed with saturation of exhibits and advertising materials, reasonableness of configuration of expositions and it was actively visited.

The collective stand of the Ministry of Education was visited by the governor of the Nizhni Novgorod district V.Shantsev, plenipotentiary of the President of Belarus in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus V.Dolgolev.

Within the framework of the forum «United Russia» on 2 of November the Day of Belarus has taken place. During this day the Belarusian participants have tried to reflect maximally the whole scientific-industrial potential of the country. Signing the Program of cooperation development between the Nizhni Novgorod district of the Russian Federation and Belarus for 2006-2010 has also taken place. The document consists of 109 concrete points of bilateral interaction with the indication of terms of execution. The program is directed on opening of co-production, as well as for increase of bilateral deliveries of production.

Summing up participation in the exhibition, carrying out of business negotiations on the one hand with the scientific organizations and on the other hand with the industrial enterprises on concrete developments: to heat- resistant composite materials (Belarusian-Russian University), abrasive tool (Gomel State Technical University, Gomel State University), heating elements and special materials for foundry (Technopark "Metolit" at BNTU), sealing and tribotechnical materials (Grodno State University, Belarusian State University of Transport), resource saving technologies and materials for hardening and restoration of quick-wearing details and tools (Polotsk State University).
