In period of 24-27 of April, 2007, in Minsk took place the XIVth Belarusian Forum on information and communication technologies. It included the International specialized exhibition on telecommunications, information and bank technologies "TIBO-2007", Belarusian Congress on telecommunications, information and bank technologies, competition of Internet-resources "Internet - premium "TIBO-2007" and some other events.

The most important, in our opinion, event was the International scientific and practical conference carried out within the framework of the Forum "Belarus: innovative politics - competitiveness - safety". There the Prime minister of Belarus S.Sidorski has made a report about the plan of realization of the State Program of innovative development of Belarus for period of 2007-2010. To conference the exhibition - presentation of the above mentioned Program accompanied organized in National Academy of Sciences. For the first time it was possible visually to estimate the projects included in the Program, as a whole and separately.

9 organizations of the Ministry of Education have taken part in the exhibition TIBO-2007: BSU, BSUIR, BSTU, BrSTU, BRU, BNTU, Main Information Center of the Ministry, PSU, Technopark of BNTU "Metolit". Their exposition has been half updated. So, BSUIR in the first time has shown the information and measuring system of registration of the fuel charge, and BrSTU - neuro-network system of detection and recognition of attacks to the computer networks.
