Days of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of India (24-28, February, 2003). REPORT.

The days of the Republic of Belarus were held in Delhi, Republic of India on the 24-28 of February 2003.

The exposition was opened in placement of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of India. 31 exhibitors took part there. There were the institutes of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, organizations of the Ministry of Education, "Kamerton", "LEMT", "Belmicrosystems", "Peleng", "Medbiotech", "Axicon", "Planar", "Svetotechnica" enterprises, National Centre for Technology Transfer, Belarusian Metallurgical Plant and others.

More than 80 exhibits were represented at the Exhibition of the research-technical developments by 11 organizations of the Ministry of Education. Besides of this, the members of the delegation took part at two thematic seminars: "Electronics: components, devices, systems" (organizer: BSUIR) and "Laser physics and technologies".

During the exposition about 70 enterprises and organizations of the Republic of India have showed an interest in the developments of universities.

The main results:

The Belarusian State University signed a contract dealing with the developments of heat-resistant materials and surfaces, as well as signed a work agreement in the field of microwave (SHF) equipment.

The Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics submitted requirements specification dealing with the collaboration of the low-noise MMW range amplifier based on aluminum oxide substrate creation and signed an agreement about the contract term extension in the field of microwave (SHF) metering and testing devices.

The Belarusian National Technical University signed the minutes with several Indian companies. They deal with the collaboration in the field of composite materials with specified physical-mechanical characteristics, developing the cutting process for materials by special instruments, using the laser technology, using of road-building technologies.

The Gomel State University submitted details of a contract for producing and delivery of the laser technological average power complex (together with the "LEMT" BelOMO enterprise).

The Grodno State University will elaborate for one of the Indian companies the samples of composite materials based on polyamide matrix.

The enterprise "Metolit" of the BNTU submitted requirements specification dealing with the collaboration of the ceramic-polymeric composites creation, carried out negotiations on delivery of filter for foundry and equipment for the electrolyte-plasma treatment of production.
