25 - 28 of February, 2004 in Moscow at the forth time took place the Salon of innovations and investment.
There took part the federal and regional government bodies, offices, funds and organizations of Russia, as well as representatives of some countries from foreign countries. Among them there was a delegacy from Belarus. The number of participants of the Salon increased in comparison with the previous one. On the exhibition the collective stand of the State Committee of Science and Technologies of the Republic of Belarus was shown. On this stand their developments demonstrated the representatives of the Ministry of Education, which formed two separate expositions: exposition of the Belarusian State University and exposition of Interuniversity Center of Marketing of SRW (ICM SRW).
The program of the Salon was traditional: the exhibition itself with competitive program and different seminars and "round tables".
The capability of the contacts' establishment was also traditional: as the Salon is universal on subjects and competitive in fact, there were very little visitors from outside, and the main negotiations took place between the organizations-participants of the Salon.
On the basis of participation experience at the previous Salon and with consideration of above-stated specificity of negotiations, ICM SRW, on the one hand, presented the wide information on developments of universities due to the available database (so-called "passive" exposition). And, on the other hand, it conducted targeted retrieval of orders among the firms-participants of the Salon on developments related with production of powder materials and deposition of wear-proof coatings, which were presented by the Polotsk State University and Technological Park "Metolit" at BNTU (so-called "active" exposition).
Brief results of the work of ICM SRW of the Ministry of Education:
1. 10 actual contacts with enterprises of Russian Federation on powders were established,
2. the letter of intent between joint stock company "Transfer" and ICM SRW about interplay in the field of technologies' transfer was signed.
3. there was collected and systematized the wide advertising material on developments of Russian organizations, which will be sent to centers of technologies' transfer of universities and separate developers in the next future, which are signed on dispatch of news of the portal icm.by
4. we notice also, that the foreign diploma for the first time was received. The Romanian association of the inventors (ASOCIATIA DE STUDII PROSPECTIVE "DINCA ANCU" - ROMANIA) awarded the Belarusian-Russian University for developments in the field of fiber optic endoscopes.
For ICM SRW were of a great interest the seminars and "round tables", where the miscellaneous aspects of formation and development of the national innovation system of Russia were esteemed. Comparison and analysis of this information with similar processes taking place in Belarus gives imagination about how it should be developed the innovation policy at universities.
Among the conducted events we will select the following:
1.Seminar: Financing of innovation activity: from the state programs till venture capital. |
2.Seminar: Formation and development of innovation infrastructure. |
3.Round table: Centers of technological transfer: experience of creation, perspectives of development. |
Conclusion:
Together with existing problems of development innovation infrastructure elements, it is possible to speak about balanced enough system of innovation development in Russia. Its state component is reinforced from the side of private business and market.
