On 5-8 November, 2003 in the Vilnius took place the 3-th National exhibition of the Republic of Belarus "BelarusEXPO-2003".

On the exhibition our republic introduced the main industrial and export capabilities. Production was demonstrated by more than 100 enterprises and companies of engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, oil chemistry, building complex, woodworking, mild and food-processing industry. For the first time on the exhibition it was possible to acquaint and with scientific developments of the Belarusian scientists.

On the stand of the Ministry of Education were shown developments of 11 organizations. Among them there are the following: the Belarusian State Technological University, Belarusian State University of Transport, Belarusian National Technical University, Brest State Technical University, Belarusian-Russian University, Vitebsk State Technological University, Gomel State Technical University, Gomel State University, Grodno State University, Polotsk State University, Techno-Park "Metolit" at BNTU.

Within the framework of the exhibition, by Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Republic to Lithuania was organized and executed the conference on the subject "Development of economic, technological and cultural relations between Belarus and Lithuania" and business meetings with Lithuanian enterprises and organizations.

There were conducted the negotiations on development of technological cooperation between Committee for Science and Technologies of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and Ministry of Education and Science of the Lithuanian Republic.
