The global climate catastrophe caused by warming will take place in 10 years already. To this theme was made the report of the international group of scientists Meeting the Climate Challenge. Its conclusions were published in the newspaper Independent on Monday.

In authors' opinion, to avoid a catastrophe, the drastic measures are necessary. In particular, it was recommended to the leaders of the countries of Big eight" to make the decision. According to this decision a quarter of the electric power produced by these countries should be developed with use of renewed sources by 2025. The scientists, policies and businessmen from plenty of countries have taken part in drawing up of the report. It was published officially by (the British Institute for Public Policy Research ).
