The first vice-president of Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences Peter Vitjaz informed about it. As he said, in the near future some directions of scientific activity in republic will be reformed. At forthcoming congress of scientists effectual measures on strengthening of interaction of a science, education and industry will be determined. It will be considered: how to make innovations attractive to the enterprises and the organizations, to interest them in new developments.

Peter Vitjaz said about main tasks for national science. Among them - decrease in power consumption and resource consumption of manufactures, development and implementation of modern technologies and equipment, increase of competitiveness of Belarus production.
