Technical characteristics
The SLPBs reliably work in mode of self-lubrication, in abrasive, humid medium and in water. Allowed conditions for application:
- temperature..............up to 100 °C
- pressure...................up to 25 MPa
- sliding speed.............................up to 1,5 m/s
- friction coefficient..........................0,05-0,12
With reduction of bearing inside diameter the shafts ultimate rotation speed is increased up to 2500 rev/min. The SLPBs are corrosion-resistant, don’t require extra lubricant supply in service, don’t jam and are noiseless.
Purpose and areas of application
They are used instead of antifriction bearings or plain bearings from antifriction alloys (bronze, babbit) polymers and other materials:
- on conveyors, (belt, chain, roller);
- in building machines (concrete mixer, auger mixers);
- in foundry, oil field equipment, agricultural machines;
- in railway, automobile and water transport.
Design manufacturing and features
The bearing bushing is made on the base of wood having an interdependent capillary porous system, which is used for accumulation of lubrication. The bearing case is made from a tube or stamped from sheet steel. It has a simple reliable and detachable structure with inside diameter from 10-50 mm and more. Outside diameter and width of the bearing box are made according to consumer requirements.
