Purpose and area of application
Software package AUTOSCAN is intended for the analisys raster images, obtained from microphotographing of the various surfaces. It allows to carry out quantitative measurements and classification of the objects, contained in the image, such as the size, form, position, optical density of the identified parts of image.
The software analyzer is recommended to be used in the metallographic analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, medicine. The program can be used for production quality control in metallurgy, where it is necessary to measure of the coefficients of relation of different phases areas, existed in the metal product’s sections, and estimation of the average size of various grains, which are contained in the metallurgy microstructures. In the powder metallurgy the analyzer can be used for controlling quantitative characteristics of the original powder, that is necessary for maintenance of the quality of production.
Technical opportunities
Using of the built-in tools of image capturing from the external camcoder allows to carry out direct supervision in the window of the analized objects and subsequent capturing and analysis of the necessary part of image.
The program provides an opportunity of the batch processing of the set of images. Frequently when analyzing the images it is necessary to process significant amount of microphotos, obtained from one surface in the same conditions. AUTOSCAN allows to carry out processing all package of the photos in the automatic mode. User can specify the same conditions of the analysis for all images in the packet, and after that the programm process whole the package without his participation. The quantitative and statistical results are given out for all the package of images.
In program exists the opportunity of hand-operated editing of digital objects. In the some cases user must correct the result set of objects, produced by the program. For such purpose program has hand-operated mode of objects editing, by using that is possible to correct results of the analysis, i.e. delete incorrect objects, link and divide objects, add new objects and so on.
The program provides high accuracy of measurements, automatic calculation of the statistical information, opportunity of the batch processing of a series of the images.
The interface and algorithms of the program can be adapted for user purpose. Also is possible to develope and modernize instruments and devices (exchanged camera to video camcoder). Program can be supplied with all necessary hardware equipment.
The program AUTOSCAN works in WINDOWS 95/98, ME, NT, 2000, XP.
