Purpose and area of application

PsychoErgo -- The Test complex of psychophysiological tests for prognosis the fitness for profession, named, is developed in the Republican Human Problems Center in Belarusian State University. The product is used to test inherent characteristics of individual’s nervous system and memory and attention characteristics.

Technical opportunities

The complex of tests allows to discover the inherent patterns of individual problem solving and behavior in different situations.
The individual features of an individual (efficiency, attention, memory, emotional response, stress reactions) are inseparably linked with physiological basis, which has typological characteristics of nervous system as important components.

All the above mentions characteristics have a great impact on success of individual’s activities. Knowledge of them is crucial for professions with extreme conditions of work: guard service, police, army, transport, sport, medicine and so on.

The well-known and widely used methods which had been published in scientific literature were taken as the base of tests for investigation of typological characteristics of nervous system. Objectivity and efficiency of testing is enhanced by modernization of these methods, versification them on PC and using information technologies.

The software allows to build the blocks of consequently implemented tests, change their quantity and tunings, to receive, handle and represent the results of testing and to save them in data base.
There exists an opportunity to make training attempts when preparing the test. The protection from illicit use of data and unapproved execution of the test is set up.

PsychoErgoTest allows to analyze:

• typological characteristics of central nervous system;
• individual motor and sensory features of a person;
• memory and attention distinctions.
  The advantage of our product is the obligatory registration of possible demonstrations of individual functional asymmetry during testing. It allows to describe more precisely his or her individual and to compare the testing results with particularized tests of functional asymmetries.
  
  The complex of psychophysiological tests PsychoErgoTest includes the following tests:
• Test of central nervous system efficiency under monotonous activities;
• Test of central nervous system steadiness and efficiency under common activities;
• Test of functional mobility and efficiency of central nervous system under complicated activities;
• Test of switchableness and stability of attention;
• Test of short-term figurative memory;
• Test of short-term memory of numbers;
• Test of determining individual profile of functional asymmetries;
• Other tests which can be selected if needed.
  
  The result of testing is the passport reflecting person’s features both facilitating successful activity and interfering with it. The passports may be multiple-variant depending on client’s needs.
