The manufacturing of the model complete sets from plasto-polymers includes three stages

  1. Manufacturing of the model - standard from a wood, metal, and also from the plasto-polymer plates;
  2. Manufacturing of a negative model - from epoxy or polyurethane resins with special properties by the model - standard;
  3. Manufacturing of working model sets - from epoxy or polyurethane materials with given properties by the negative model.

The manufacturing of model sets from plasto-polymer materials allows to reduce essentially (in 5-7 times) the terms of opening-up of production and labour-intensity of manufacturing of a model equipment, to reduce its cost in comparison with the conventional steels, bronze or aluminum model complete sets.

The most rational is the application of the plasto-polymer materials at duplicating of model sets in production and quantity production of castings in the single foundry forms. Besides of this, the plasto-polymers can be successfully used for manufacturing of the copying-models, core boxes, moulds for thermoplastic - automatic machine etc.


Advantages of the models from the plasto-polymer materials

  • high accuracy of the produced models (zero shrinkage, demanded flowability, handly time of a polymerization allow to create a copy of the model - standard with a micron accuracy);

  • minimum effort (due to the minimal friction) at extraction of a model from the form.

Modeling and elaboration of a casting technology includes

  1. construction of three-dimensional virtual model of casting under the drawing of a detail;
  2. selection of a jointing plane, calculation and construction of a pouring and feeding system;
  3. modeling of the technical processes of the form filling by a melt, crystallization and cooling of casting;
  4. analysis of the detected defects;
  5. optimization of foundry technology;
  6. working of the documentation on a casting equipment (model set, core boxes);
  7. manufacturing of a casting equipment;
  8. obtaining of a prototype (casting).
