Purpose and area of application

DAKTI & DAKTI-2 are the names of developers for making a criminalistic examination. DAKTI (black developer) is used for visualization of latent fingerprint on bright surfaces and DAKTI-2 (white developer) is used for visualization of latent fingerprint on dark surfaces.

Technical characteristics

The developers are regulated by technical specifications - TY RB 100050710.045-2001 and TY RB 100050710.051-2002. DAKTI & DAKTI-2 may be utilized on the following: - ceramic, metal, glass and polymeric surfaces that are wet, dry or greasy; - adhesive surfaces such as scotch tapes, plasters, labels; - greasy latent fingerprint on wet or dry ceramic, metal, glass and polymeric surfaces that are wet or dry.

Advantages

These developers are used without any special surface pre-treatment or drying.

Usage

DAKTI's series are elaborated with participation of the State Expert & Forensic Science Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
