Purpose and area of application
The system is applied for the continuous control of vibrations of bearing supports of turbine units. It includes a portable data collector PDM 2106 packaged with vibration sensors; a work-station based on a general purpose PC packaged with proper software for secondary processing and analysis of vibrodata; technological software to set up modes and functions of the PDM 2106 collector.
The PDM 2106 data collector embodies a compact unit with independent power supply making it possible to enter and record into the energy-independent memory time realizations of vibro-signals, reflecting mechanical fluctuations of an object in check points. A set of three vibration sensors is packaged with the collector having either magnetic or screw clamping, connectable to the data collector unit by joints.
Functionality
- Connect the data collector to the work-station with cable wiring, set up modes and functions for independent operation;
- Disconnect from the work-station and install at a controllable object, turn on the independent operation mode on the preset program, independent accumulation of vibration data;
- Disassemble the collector, connect to the work-station PC and record the accumulated vibration data into stationary disk drives;
- Secondary processing and analysis of the vibration data with purpose of detection of incipient defects, technical state evaluation of the controllable objects and their diagnostics.

Number of discrete points of the maintained time realization of the vibro-signal may be preset arbitrary. For spectral analysis purposes and for other processing types it is recommended to select the value from the following series:

Amplitude range of measured vibro-signals in vibration acceleration units, m/s2

Measurement error is basically determined by the characteristics of the vibration measuring converters applied, not more than,%

Collection and storage modes for the vibro-signal realizations:
|
- on users pushing the button;
- in preset time intervals after turning-on;
- in preset time intervals, starting from the preset time.

The in-built real-time clock allows linking the preserved realization to astronomic time.
