Purpose and area of application

  • The unit is designed for spaying large number of powdered materials and formation of wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, erosion-resistant as well as cavitation proof and heat resistant coatings.
  • It is used for quick-wearing-out parts of oil field,  petrochemical, boring and gas processing equipment as well as for motor transport machinery, textile manufacture, plug fittings for power equipment, shafts, rods, sleeves of pump equipment.

The principle of coatings spraying

It is based on the heating of powdered materials in the hyperthermal flame, which is formed under combustion of propane-butane or acetylene in oxygen.

Design features

The unit consists of control desk with monitoring instruments, valves for plasma-forming gases control, automatics and gas-distribution system, thermal-spraying gun-type burner which enables to conduct the spraying both manually and in semiautomatic mode.

For spraying of internal and hard accessible surfaces the unit is equipped with special extension piece which allows to perform the spraying of the articles like bushes with diameter from 150 mm and length 700 mm from each side.
