Purpose and area of application

The gas-flame spraying of coatings is based on heating of a powdered material in a hyper-thermal flame, which is generated at combustion of propane of butane or acetylene in oxygen.
Is intended for a spraying of the broad nomenclature of powdered materials and creation of tear-proof, rustproof coatings, as well as coatings, nonperishable to erosion, cavitation, to thermal effects.
Is applied for quick wear parts of oil, petrochemical, chisel, gas mining equipment, motor transportation engineering, textile effecting, stop reinforcement of utilities equipment, arbors, rods, sleeves of pumping equipment etc.
The quality of coatings and parts is provided with a complex of technologies, equipment and powders.

GAS-FLAME SPRAYING OF COATINGS FROM STRING SELF-FLUSED ALLOYS

A series of plug wires integrates "Rock-Dure" for gas-flame spraying of coatings with melting away (class of self-fluxing powders) plug wires with powder filling materials on the basis of Ni (Co) -Cr-B-Si and their mixes with tungsten carbide, and is applied to creation of protective coatings with high resistance to abrasive deterioration, stability against corrosion both oxidation at normal and heightened temperatures (up to 800°C) in combination to excellent antifriction properties.
The deposition of such coatings implements in two stages: the maiden operation - deposition on a surface of a work piece of coating of indispensable depth; second - melting away of coating by heating of an item to temperature 980-1200°C. After operation of melting away the bond strength of coating with the basis can reach 450 MPa. Hardness - 20-62 HRC.


The mechanical work of flowed layers depending on hardness of coatings implements cutting by the hard-alloy tool or grinding with application abrasive (predominantly from green silicon carbide) and diamond tool.
Examples of application: pivots of rotary fist, barrels of the suspension both series of parts of heavy haulers and drive trucks; bore protectors, runners, plungers, rotary tables of pumps etc.
