Purpose and area of application

It is applied for local preparation of water, as well as production of purified and high-purity water

The application of devices for membrane water purification as local systems of fine water purification at enterprises of food industry is the most advisable. It can be applied at availability of according equipment for preparation of water in hospitals, sanatoriums, at enterprises of radio-electronic, textile, pharmacy industry etc.

Advantages

In comparison with traditionally used the proposed devices for membrane water purification allow to:
  • increase quality of water purification in 3 – 10 times;
  • improve productivity of water purification in 1,5 – 2 times;
  • reduce energy consumption of water purification in 2 – 3 times;
  • reduce cost of equipment in comparison with foreign analogues in 1,5 – 2 times.

Brief description of the device

The device includes a set of filtering modules - membrane elements of the rolled type and filters of preliminary water purification. Control of purification is carried out by means of the board with the instrumentation and throttle of pressure adjustment. The modular design of the device, wide scale of membrane elements and pre-filters (textile, porous metal, polymeric etc.) allow to apply the device in a wide range of parameters changes on configuration of the device, its dimension, productivity, capacity, as well as rate of water purification depending on conditions of technological process.

Level of development

The design and technological documentation on membrane devices and their application were developed. The membrane devices for water purification have passed a full cycle of industrial tests. Industrial samples operate on a number of enterprises of the food industry of Vitebsk region: Polotsk winery, joint-stock company "Polotsk dairy plant", Tolochin winery

Proposals

  • complex decision of problem of water purification for food industry with reference to conditions of the consumer by the organization of multistage system of pre-filtration and membrane water purification;
  • rules, design and technological documentation on manufacturing membrane devices of water purification;
  • help in organization and adjustment of equipment manufacture for water purification with use of membrane technologies;
  • manufacturing of membrane devices; installation, adjustment and service (together with  “Agat” concern).
