Purpose:

The proposed sorbent is intended for removal of heavy metal and ammonium ions from the complex solutions, including the solution with the presence of the ions of water hardness salts in concentration exceeding target components 2-3 times.

Area of application:

  • purification of the drinking water and galvanic drainage from heavy metals ions in concentrations from 10-20 mg/L to 0,01 mg/L and lower in the presence of water hardness salts in concentration of 20-80 mg /L
  • purification of raw wine materials from the excessive content of calcium ions in concentrations from 200-250 mg/L to 80 mg /L
  • purification of raw wine materials for the sparkling wines from the excessive iron ions
  • water purification from ammonium nitrogen for the fish industry
  • Technical characteristics:

      inorganic polymer of white color with layered structure with the particle sizes 5-20 microns on various carriers, produced in the form of granules, dense disks, disks of ceramic-metal membranes, fibres, etc.
      density, kg/m3 0,4-0,9
      sorption ability to absorb heavy metal ions, mol/kg 1,5-3,5
      sorption ability to absorb ammonium ions, mol/kg not less than 3,0
      quantity of purified water at the content of a target component of 5 mg/L in drinking water with water hardness 2 mmol/L, cordwood volume not less than 10000
      regeneration, % not less than 98-99
     under usual conditions does not have a harmful effect on the organism of human being and does not demand any precautionary measures
     at the contact to water the sorbent does not decompose and does not evolve the harmful substances
