Purpose: The proposed sorbent can be used to absorb or isolate the microimpurity ions of radioactive elements, non-ferrous metals and ammonium in the presence of large quantities of the accompanying salts.
Area of application:
- purification of the scourage with non–ferrous metal ions for galvanic manufactures
- radioactive caesium and strontium nuclide removal from the drinking water
- radioactive caesium and strontium nuclide removal from complex solutions with high concentration of various salts
- ammonium ions removal from the fish reservoirs and from the containers intended for fish transportation

Ceolitelike Sorbent is produced in the form of granules
Technical characteristics:
inorganic polymer of grey - yellow color on various carriers |
it has ceolite structure with the particle sizes, micron |
5-20 |
density, kg / m3 |
0,4-0,9 |
sorption ability to absorb heavy metal ions, mol/kg |
1,5-3,5 |
sorption ability to absorb ammonium ions, mol/kg |
not less than 3,0 |
quantity of purified water at the content of a target component of 5 mg/L in drinking water with water hardness 2 mmol/L, cordwood volume |
not less than 30000 |
regeneration, % |
not less than 98-99 |
Advantages:
- high selectivity in the presence of water hardness salts
- the convenient and practical form of use
- universality (purification of drinking water, sewage, liquid food substances)
- high dynamic capacitance
- nontoxic for a human being, water fauna, animal and plant world
- not recyclable after purification of the galvanic drainage, but can be used as an additive to premixes, disinfectants, pigments, etc.
Forms of cooperation: We see various ways of collaboration from the joint research projects to selling the developed know-how and implementation of the proposed technological process at the Customers’ facilities. We also consider possible to produce the proposed sorbent for a Customer.
