Purpose and area of application

Production of enterprise "EUTECTIC" includes flux compositions, degassing tablets for processing alloys on the basis of aluminium, zinc and other alloys, antiburning coverings, chill paints, protective coat, lubricants for compression moulds of foundry machines, systems of dispersion and can be used in mechanical engineering and metallurgy.

1    Surface-refining flux

Multifunctional powdered preparation for refinement of melts on the basis of aluminum, protection of metals from oxidation, minimization of metal content in slag, remelting of chips and superfine charge material. Provides the formation of dry powdered slag containing no aluminum. Consumption: 0,1…0,3% Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.

2    Surface-refining flux with modification effect

Universal powdered preparation with refining and modification effect for hypoeutectic and eutectic silumins, technical aluminum. Modifies eutectic silicon, grain of α-solid solution of silicon in aluminum. Purifies melt from gases and non-metallic inclusions, provides the creation of protective layer on the surface of the melt, which excludes the contact of furnace atmosphere with metal, facilitates the formation of dry, easy rinsed powdered slag, minimizes metal content in slag. Consumption: 0,5…1,0% of the melt’s weight. Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.

3    Special surface-refining flux for removing of magnesium and alkaline-earth metals out of aluminum alloys

Special powdered preparation for removing of magnesium and alkaline-earth metals, adsorption and output of the reaction products into slag stage while removing of magnesium and other alkaline-earth metals. As a rule it is applied in combination with "Special degassing tablet for removing of magnesium and alkaline-earth metals". Consumption: 10 kg for 1 kg of removing magnesium. Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.

4    Surface-refining cleaning flux for removing of crusts

Universal powdered preparation for removing of scabs and crusts of slaggy origin from the walls of furnace, facilitation of cleaning of the walls of furnaces, minimization of metal content in slag. Consumption: 1 kg for 1 m2 of furnace lining; 0,3 – 0,5% of the melt’s weight. Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.

5    Surface-refining self-melting flux

Special powdered preparation, which forms ionic melt on the mirror of molten metal. Provides high level of refinement, fluid protective layer on the surface of the melt, minimization of metal content in slag. Allows remelting slag wastes. Consumption: 0,1% of the melt’s weight. Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.

6    Surface-refining flux for processing of hypereutectic silumins

Special powdered preparation for refinement, protection of the melt’s surface from oxidation, minimization of losses of aluminum with slag while melting and processing of hypereutectic silumins. Allows remelting shaving wastes of hypereutectic silumins. Consumption: 0,1 …0,3% to the mass of molten metal. Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.

7    Surface-refining flux for alloys Zn-Al-Cu

Multifunctional powdered preparation for refinement of melts on the basis of zinc, protection of metals from oxidation, reduction of metal content in slag, remelting of chips, slags and superfine charge material, formation of dry easy rinsed powdered slag on the surface of the melt. Consumption: 0,1 …0,3%. Treated alloys: technical aluminum and its alloys.
