Purpose and area of application
Technologies and equipment for dry isostatic pressing
- are intended for production of porous permeable and other products from metal and non-metallic powders;
- allow to produce items of different geometrical forms with the sizes: length - up to 1000 mm, cross-section sizes - up to 120 mm, - in a wide range of density (compacting pressure - up to 200 MPa). At the request of a customer it is possible to change the specified parameters;
- provide uniform distribution of density on volume of pressings, relatively high efficiency of process of pressing (15...100 items per an hour), absence of the phenomenon of closing of surface pores, reduction of energy and power inputs for pressing;
- are characterized by high culture and safety of manufacture, opportunity of pressing processes automation, small metal consumption and dimensions of the equipment, relatively low cost of the equipment.
Range of the produced items
- filters for rough and thin cleaning liquids and gases,
- tool on the base of ceramics (oxides, carbides, nitrides, etc.),
- crucibles on the base of ceramics,
- capillaries on the base of W and Mo with interior diameter of 0.1-0.5 mm,
- products on the base of high-density alloys (W),
- contact joints of usual and special assignment.
The technology and equipment of the pressing of powders allows to produce long-length items of a simple and complex form (diameter up to 120 mm, length up to 1000 mm) with high precision of the dimensions.
The technology and equipment allow to produce the long-length capillaries on the base of refractory metals and carbides with an interior pinhole of more than 0.1 mm. The capillaries can be used for quality assurance of liquids, as well as for hydro-abrasive processing.
Contact joints (CJ) for current contact jaw have a wide application in different areas of science and technics (physics, electrochemistry, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, etc.). There are high requirements to their properties, which are related to transfer of current without heating and maintenance of reliable work of electro-technical devices due to strong contact of metal joints by rather small electric resistance, which is provided with design of CJ, technology of reduction and selection of materials. Within the framework of the international project together with the A.A.Bochvar's Institute (Moscow) was successfully executed research on production of contact joints of the thermo-nuclear reactor.

Device for dry isostatic pressing of long-length powder blanks
Carbide titan filter produced by self-distributing high-temperature synthesis |
A new progressive technology and equipment for pressing of long-length cylindrical blanks on the base of ceramics (ZrO2) for coatication of multilayered heat resisting coatings on products of special assignment has been developed.
The most power-intensive and long process at production of powder items is traditionally sintering, which requires the complex oven equipment, protective atmospheres. Therefore the new technology of sintering of the powder products, based on processes of self-distributing high-temperature synthesis has been developed. At this sintering the supply of energy from the outside (except for initiation of the process) is not required. In many cases the sintering can be made without a protective atmosphere (on air). The produced items on the base of carbides, borides, nitrides of titan, zirconium and other metals favorably differ from the items from only metal. They have very high temperature of fusion, chemical stability, stably controlled structure of pores, what allows to use them in such specific fields of application as, for example, filtration of metal melts, aggressive liquids and gases, etc.
Commercial proposal
Work at:
- dry isostatic pressing,
- design and manufacturing of equipment,
- sintering of filtering elements on the base of carbides (TiC),
- radial-isostatic reduction of current contact jaw,
- improvement of professional skill and retrainings of personnel on new directions of development of technical equipment and technology.
