Purpose and area of application

Multilayer composite coatings on the base of titanium nitride are developed and used in the production of parts of friction units and tooling for forming and machining of metals.

Advantages

The coating consists of reinforced sublayer produced by vacuum techniques on working surfaces of members and multifunction polymeric layer with the properties of alternating mass transfer.

The instrument with multilayer coating is by 3-10 fold wear resistant in comparison with the instrument from special alloyed steel subjected to thermal or chemical-thermal processing.
