Purpose and area of application:

New generation of thermo- and a sound-proof tile which represents a composite design from ceramics and foamed silicate material is developed.
During creation of the composition, foamed silicate material strongly incorporates to ceramic or metal substrate and forms the structure which can be applied in building industry using its firmness and decorative properties of ceramics and heat- and sound-proof properties of the foamed silicate material.

The tile can be used for protection of objects of industrial and civil construction, equipment and communication lines from heat-exchange with environment. It will allow to bring resistance to a heat-transfer of walls of existing buildings into accordance with modern requirements, to lower heat loses and expenses, to improve rooms comfort, and also decorative properties of facades.

Technical characteristics:

Totally properties of the composition correspond to following values:
- sound insulation at 500 Hz > 52 dB
- heat transfer coefficient < 0,80 Vt/(m²*K)
- coefficient of heat conductivity < 0,23 Vt/(m*K)
- flexural resistance > 3,5 N/mm²
- compression resistance >20 N/mm²

Advantages:

Offered materials are ecologically pure, nonflammable, nontoxical and completely inert to a moisture and other influences of environment. Their application will allow to raise level of fire safety for objects of the industry, in buildings and constructions. Developed material has improved characteristics, namely: increased time of stability to influence of fire and high threshold temperature characteristics (up to 700 ^oC).
