Application

Processing of two-component polyurethane systems and product manufacturing of rigid two-component polyurethane:

  • production of the products for heat insulation of gas and oil pipelines, water pipelines of hot and cold water supply, engineering networks, chemical and oil-chemical industries, cisterns, depositories, tanks and other industrial objects;
  • heat insulation of the equipment of cooling, refrigerating and cryogenic facilities.

Products from polyurethane foam

Heat-insulating materials made of polyurethane foams (PUF) are used for heat insulation of gas-and-oil pipelines, hot-and-cold water supply networks, steam pipeworks in chemical an petrochemical manufactures, tanks, containers, storehouses, refrigerating and cryogenic plants and other industrial equipment and are able to work in a range of temperatures of -250°C to +160°C The application of combined heat-insulating structures of mineral cotton wool and polyurethane foam allows to use these on objects with a temperature up to 250°C.

Products range

Heat-insulating products of polyurethane foam are produced as semi-cylinders, T-joints pipe-bends, mountable-and-dismountable elements for thermal isolation, stop valves, plates and other article under customer's technical requirements.

 

Properties

Polyurethane foam products surpass the common heat-insulating and building materials in their heat-transfer properties and operating characteristics. The heat conductivity of the PUF is 2 to 3 times les than that of mineral wool and 6 times lower, man that of aerated concrete. Estimates made according to the Building Code 11-3-79 "Building heating engineering" (edition of 1995, revision Nr 3) and 2.04.14-88 "Thermal insulation of equipment and pipelines (revision Nr 1 - 11.03.95) show that a 10 mm heat-insulating layer of PUF is equivalent to brickwork of 140 mm thick and a mineral wool layer of 30 mm thick respectively. The PUF-insulation has good water-and-atmosphere resistance. It is environmentally safe and meets the requirements of the Sanitary Code and Fire Protection Regulations. Guaranteed service life of PUF-insulation is 25 to 30 years.

The polyurethane foam products are not toxic. They are allowed for use in inhabited and public building by Ministry of Health of Belarus and Ministry of Health of Russian Federation. PUF systems have the hygienic certificates.
