Application

The mobile complex of a modular type is self-contained mobile factory with independent system of service. It is intended for manufacturing of "PENOPURM" on a basis of gas-filled polymer (polyurethane foam) in field conditions.

"PENOPURM" can be used as a preventive mean for immediate response to sudden pollutions and accidents in hazardous zones: to collect liquid mineral oil and organic substances at liquidation of accidental spillages, for cleaning water and ground areas, settling tanks, storm and waste waters from the pollution by hydrocarbons and its derivates, such as crude oil, light and heavy fuel oil, vegetable, animal or mineral oils, organic solvents and others.

The "PENOPURM" can be manufactured as sheets, floating booms, pillows, pads, rolls or crumbs that allows the quick and efficient action and guarantees excellent results even under hard weather conditions. The "PENOPURM" is also suitable for preventive treatments such as elimination of industrial pollutants from water emulsions and solutions, as well as from settlers, storage tanks, oil separators; liquidation of sequences of leakages; filtration of sewage waters in metallurgical, chemical and petroleum-refining industry.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC OF "PENOPURM"

  • Absorbing ability : "PENOPURM" absorbs hydrocarbons in 35-70 times more body weight without change of volume.
  • Holding ability : "PENOPURM" completely keeps absorbed substance, were hi the sated status on a water surface.
  • Restoring ability : "PENOPURM" allows restoring not less than 80 % of the absorbed substance without change of its characteristics.
  • Destruction of wastes : after use "PENOPURM" can be utilize on the arrangement on processing of industrial wastes.

The mobile complex is represents of itself trailers supplied automobiles with technological equipment and facilities, which can be used for fabrication of necessary amount of sorbent in direct nearing of zones of emergency floods of liquid petroleum and organic substances.

The mobile complex consists of

  • utility module (1);
  • manufacturing module for raw material preparation (2);
  • power supply module (3);
  • sorbent manufacturing module (4);
  • module for manufacturing sheets, pads, booms and granules (5);
  • regeneration module (6);
  • waste sorbent collector (7);
  • oil tank truck (8).

The utility module provides independent residing the operating staff of the mobile industrial complex.

The manufacturing module for raw material preparation provides the pretreatment and delivery of raw components to the sorbent manufacturing module. It consists of the following basic units:

  • refrigerating and thermostating units;
  • raw material storage;
  • pump unit for component delivery to the sorbent manufacturing module;
  • air-conditioner and air fan
The power supply module provides generation, submission and switching of power supplies and compressed air and includes:
  • electric generator, 25 kW max, 380V/50 Hertz;
  • power switchboard with switching elements to connect ventilation installation, lighting, compressor, refrigerating unit, mixing-and-filling device for sorbent producing, equipment for cutting sorbent blocks;
  • air compressor with productivity of 0,4-1 m3/ min and working pressure of 8-10 Bar;
  • compressed-air treatment unit including filters, condensate-tappers for water, oil and water separator, sorption driers and a receiver.
The sorbent manufacturing module includes:
  • mixing and-dosingplant with the following characteristics:
    • number of components dosed - 2
    • ratio of components dosed - 3:1 to 1:3
    • productivity, g/s - 60 to 200
    • established capacity, kW - 7 max
    • weight, kg - 300 max
  • manufacturing equipment including mixing tanks, stop valves, pipework, pump units, etc;
  • shaping equipment including continuous conveyor, sensors and transducers, manipulator mechanisms.
The module for manufacturing sheets, pads, booms and granules includes a cutting device to manufacture sorbent plates, breaking and granulating machine, packaging line, etc.

The regeneration module provides the recovery and purification of oil products collected and includes a centrifuge, wringer rolls and separation columns.

The waste sorbent collector is intended for collection and storage of a sorbent waste after regeneration. It is a tightly closed container.

The oil tank truck is used for gathering, temporal storage and later transportation of the recovered oil products.
