Purpose and area of application
Pulse radar is aimed for:
- avoidance of collisions during nap-of-the-earth flights of helicopters and light aircraft in highlands, in urban and industrial areas, over agricultural lands accommodating high-voltage transmission lines;
- high-accuracy navigation, guidance and collision avoidance of various-class ships in ports, in complicated waterways of rivers, channels, etc.;
- supervisory control of traffic at airports, etc.
Advantages
Ensures environmental safety, electromagnetic compatibility, secrecy and noisance resistance.
