The GIS «Forest resources» is the multifunction specialized system for forestry enterprises. The GIS allows to receive the integrated cartographical and signed information for the decision of practical questions of accounting of the forest assets, current planning of forest hacking, recovery of forest, anti-fire and forest protecting measures, creation of thematic forest maps of plantations distribution depending on categories of earths, rocks, age groups, forest types, exploitation fund and other parameters depending on consumer demands.
   The GIS can be also used for cadastral evaluation of forests, decision of purposes of environment protection and monitoring of forests, including the usage of materials of space photography.
