Purpose and area of application
The program complex is intended for integrated simulation of heat transfer and dynamic processes under plasma spraying in atmospheric conditions. It can be applied for improvement and optimization of coating technology (metal, ceramic, oxide and other kinds of coatings) in the field of mechanical engineering, aircraft machines, and others.
Functional features
- 3-D simulation of powder-particles acceleration, heating, melting and evaporation in plasma jet
- simulation of the process of heat transfer, residual stresses formation in coating-substrate system
- simulation of the formation of coating lamella structure and pores
- build-in means of scientific information working, database of plasma forming gases properties, materials of the coatings and bases.
