Purpose and area of application

The technology is applied for production of MMW waveguide units complying with standards, such as WR-28, WR-22, Wr-19, WR-15, WR-12, WR-10, WR-8 (frequency range covers 26,5 through 140 GHz).

Technical characteristics

The technology includes the following technological processes:
  • through – pulling of waveguide pipes;
  • fabrication of rectangular, circular waveguides and transitions from rectangular to circular ones;
  • waveguide pipe bending in E and H planes;
  • waveguide pipe twisting;
  • protective coating of interior and exterior surfaces of waveguide units;
  • method of plastic deformation is used to form waveguide units, and for fabrication of staged waveguide units.
  • Advantages

    There are technology and materials which allow to replace gold and the silver now used for a coating of microwave units.
