Purpose and area of application The technology is applied for production of MMW waveguide units complying with standards, such as WR-28, WR-22, Wr-19, WR-15, WR-12, WR-10, WR-8 (frequency range covers 26,5 through 140 GHz).
Technical characteristics The technology includes the following technological processes:
- through – pulling of waveguide pipes;
- fabrication of rectangular, circular waveguides and transitions from rectangular to circular ones;
- waveguide pipe bending in E and H planes;
- waveguide pipe twisting;
- protective coating of interior and exterior surfaces of waveguide units;
- method of plastic deformation is used to form waveguide units, and for fabrication of staged waveguide units.
Advantages There are technology and materials which allow to replace gold and the silver now used for a coating of microwave units.
