Application This technological process is applied at the enterprises and shops which process industrial and household waste products.
Technological process features
- raw material for processing:
- leather waste (LW): shreds of a skin, fats, fur and Cr2O3,
- iron-containing waste (ICW) containing not less than 50 % of ferric oxide: scale, chips, steel and iron casting slag and used catalysts;
- slag and catalysts are preliminary milled;
- scale, chip and slag are used without being preliminary briquetted;
The processing of wastes includes:
- drying of wastes;
- pyrolysis of LW;
- charge preparation from LW and ICW;
- synthesis of ferrochromium;
- separation of ferrochromium and slag;
|

|
Advantages
- formation of biogas at processing of organic component of wastes;
- forming biogas can be used as a substitute of natural gas;
- ecological purity of toxic ferrous wastes processing;
- ecological conditions become better as a result of liquidation of WLI dumping polygons;
- low cost of raw for ferrochromium production;
- synthesized ferrochromium is a product conforming all requirements of metallur-gical industry;
- unbound slag is used in road building and by production of building materials.
